Our new online store has been up and running for about a month now, and it has been a great success. Some of you that have visited our online store may have noticed some products are considerably more inexpensive. This can happen because Midwest Veterinary Supply has an online store division and a warehouse specifically dedicated to online store items, therefore, they can buy extremely large amounts from the manufacturers for very low prices. The savings are then passed on to our clients. Compare this to the savings you encounter when you shop at Costco versus a local grocery store. Costco may but 500,000 items at 3 cents each, but your local grocery store can only afford and stock 100 of that same item and are charged 20 cents each. It is always cheaper to buy in bulk, however, smaller businesses cannot always afford it or have room for the items.
Our online store does not just carry medications. We offer shampoos, sprays, prescription foods, and pet supplies such as beds, harnesses, and toys. One of the coolest features is called Easy Dose It!. This is a convenience service where our clients can sign up to have medication or food delivered on the same day every month and are automatically charged for it. No more forgetting to order that special dog food or missing a month of Heartworm preventative!
